The recovery in the legal recruitment market has now become comprehensively established with both in-house commerce and private practice benefiting from increased and seemingly sustainable demand. Not withstanding
the many and various risks to the world economy and the faltering nature of the recovery in the UK, prospects for lawyers seeking new positions are currently better than they have been since 2008.
- The number of outstanding vacancies amongst our sample financial sector companies fell from 49 to 43. However, overall demand is currently less dependent on the financial sector and is being sustained from in-house commerce and private practice.
- Salary increases achieved by lawyers changing jobs in the financial sector have increased to 14%.
- Salary increases achieved by lawyers changing jobs in the financial sector have increased to 13%.
