Job Description
Following a positive start to 2018, my client has been strategically expanding across their financial crime function in both the 1st & 2nd line. As a result of this, they are looking to hire a talented Sanctions expert, to come in and act as the go to person for their Sanctions programme from a technical perspective, reporting directly to the head of Financial Crime Advisory.

Your key responsibilities will include working directly with senior stakeholders across all business lines, including heads of desk's and advising them on complex Sanctions issues presenting themselves to the organisation, as well as working closely with key members of the business to educate them on potential Sanctions risks, and working closely with transformation teams on major financial crime projects and enhancements to sanctions frameworks.

Ideally to be successful you will the following previous experience:

- Previous experience working in a business advisory position
- Technical knowledge of Sanctions & associated Money-Laundering risks to major investment banks
- Risk management mindset and proven ability to work effectively with front office and senior stakeholders
- Strong knowledge of Global Sanctions lists
- Proactive mindset and desire to be involved in broad range of projects
