Job Description

My client is a leading banking group looking to hire a trusted advisor to work in their first line transaction monitoring team. The position will be for a 12 month foxed term contract

This role will play a key part in ensuring the bank is able to properly scrutinise the payments and trades that go through it to ensure they are able to spot and deal with anything potentially fraudulent and stop any opportunities for money laundering.

The Transaction Monitoring Analyst will analyse all alerted payments or trades, investigate customer transactions and escalate confirmed suspicious activities as soon as they are spotted. The role will engage with relevant stakeholders including front-office relationship managers as well as compile and advise on investigation data for market alerts.

This team makes a real difference to the bank and this role will play a key part in ensuring the bank is able to trade in a safe way.

They are looking for people with specific transaction monitoring experience and while this will ideally be from a corporate background they will consider people with retail experience as well. It's vital that people have specifically worked on the transaction monitoring side rather than KYC or EDD and people without this experience won't be considered.

This is a well known bank with a great reputation as a place to work and can offer excellent career progression.

The role can either be placed in their London or Midlands offices.

Interviews will all be done remotely and the process will move quickly so please don't hesitate to contact Tom Boulderstone on for further information or submit your CV for consideration.
