Job Description
My client who are a large Wealth Manager and Financial Planning firm, are looking to make an addition to their Training & Competence team and will look solely at the Wealth Management business. Responsibilities will include;
- Ensure new employees and supervisors are aware of their permissions and responsibilities
- Maintain attaining competence process for new Investment Managers
- Manage the year end assessment for the competence process
- Provide advice on ad-hoc T&C requirements
- Maintenance of T&C records in line with regulatory requirements
- Carry out Annual Audit of the CPD records
The current T&C team focus primarily on the Financial Planning side of the business, whereas this position will focus on the Wealth Management business. Therefore, the essential experience required for this role is as follows;
- 3-5 years experience within Wealth Management in a T&C role or Compliance for e.g.
- Minimum of 2 years experience carrying out the responsibilities of Training & Competence for a Wealth Manager
The salary will be in the region of £55,000 - £65,000 and comes with a discretionary and benefits.
