SOC Specialist

I am working with an innovative financial services firm, seeking a hands-on SOC specialist to join their growing team based in Surrey.

This role is one of the most senior roles available in their SOC. The role will cover both proactive and reactive cyber defence measures, such as threat hunting, malware analysis and incident response. You will be responsible for monitoring SIEM/SOAR data, building use cases, as well as participating in tabletop exercises with the wider security function. You will also have the opportunity to work with the wider engineering and architecture functions.

In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have significant experience within security operations and ideally, have incident response experience. Wider experience within IT/SysAdmin is welcomed. Certifications such as GCIH are desirable. You must also be able to commute to the office on a weekly basis.
