Senior Operational Risk Manager

My Global Proprietary Trading Client is looking for an experienced Operational Risk Manager to join their growing function. The role will focus on the knowledge and familiarity of Operational Risk frameworks, where you will be required to improve and maintain policies, controls, and procedures. The role will require the identification and assessment of risks across the business.

 

The Role:

• Maintain and improve the operational risk framework, looking at policies, procedures, and controls.
• Identify material operational risks and offer relevant solutions.
• Stay updated on Dutch and EU regulatory requirements and act as an internal advisor for risk management.
• Lead risk assessments, develop internal controls and risk reports.
• Develop and implement the incident management process, promoting its use companywide.
• Keep in regular contact with Dutch and EU regulators and implement new policies accordingly.

You:

• 8+ years of operational risk management experience
• Experience in the capital markets industry
• Operational risk frameworks and internal controls knowledge
• Wider understanding of enterprise risk management
• EU risk/regulatory experience including reporting to the regulator.
• English fluency (written and spoken)
