Job Description

My client is a leading retail bank based in the city. They are looking for a Senior Manager in the Regulatory Liaison team for an initial 6 month FTC maternity cover. You must have a short or immediate notice period for this role with the view to start in January 2020.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Managing the bank's relationship with the PRA (there will also be overlap with the conduct team who manages the relationship with LSB, PSR and the FCA)
  • Preparing senior management prior to any interaction with the PRA from formal onsite visits to ad hoc meetings.
  • Coordinating responses to regulatory requests and deliver internal reporting on regulatory engagement and it's impact
  • Advising on interpretation of regulation
  • Influencing and building relationships with various stakeholders across the business up to Board level

 

Requirements:

  • A broad knowledge of Prudential Regulation from a bank or regulator but will also consider those with Conduct experience
  • Previous experience in regulatory liaison/ affairs
  • Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent time management and the ability to work under pressure

 

Salary: up to £95k
