Senior Incident Response Manager

 

A leading wealth manager with a global presence is looking for a seasoned incident response oversight manager to join their cyber security team. This person will be managing the Cyber Readiness across the business, Incident Response policies and frameworks and Services Management.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • The ideal candidate will contribute in raising awareness of cyber threats, vulnerabilities and related response capabilities and processes.
  • Run the process of integration of the Security Incident Response Framework
  • As part of their responsibilities they will be expected to take ownership of the Cyber Resilience within the business, this includes:
    • Engage with senior stakeholders and business heads
    • Selecting third party vendors and understanding the requirements of both functional & non-functional.
    • Procurement
    • Developing and implementing of supporting processes, exercising and acceptance of the framework and processes before it goes live
  • You will be expected to lead major cyber security incidents and provide SME support to the organisation whenever local cyber incidents occurs.
  • This candidate will oversee root cause analysis for major cyber security incidents ensuring that the suitable problem management, issue management or risk management processes are followed as well as tracking issues through to resolution.
  • Work with Information Security Operations to develop and enhance DLP detection and response capabilities.

     

    Background

     

  • Certifications: GCTI, GCIH (desirable)
  • Understanding of information/ cyber security risk management frameworks.
  • Experience in designing and running readiness workshops
  • Strong background threat and vulnerability management services including current information security trends, threat actors, TTPs, attack vectors.
  • Extensive experience of implementing, monitoring and improving the Incident management capabilities of a financial services organisation.
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders and work effectively across different groups and divisions.
  • Knowledge and experience of industry standard control suites e.g. ISO27000 NiST etc.
