Your Job

You will play a leading part within the risk function overseeing a broad range of enterprise wide risk management. Daily activities will include…

  • Stepping in and supporting the CRO when needed, succession planning and partaking in strategic initiatives.
  • Contributing to the constant development of the enterprise wide risk management framework. You will be Identify gaps and ways to improve processes as well as embedding and implementing the framework.
  • Providing robust management of risk, providing insight and challenge by working closely with the line 1 business teams, conducting risk identification, spotlight reviews, and assessment workshops.
  • Delivering insights on second line reviews to senior stakeholders and delivering communication on how a strong risk culture is an integral part of the business.
  • Maintaining strong relationships with senior stakeholders and other areas of the business.
  • Being aware and up to date of regulatory updates and changes and factoring this into your everyday work. Understanding property investments, health and safety legislation and keeping up to date with other risk types – i.e conduct risk, ESG and IT risk.

Your Skills

As the ideal candidate you will have …

  • Strong experience in building risk frameworks and framework development, implementation and embedding risk framework within the Housing industry.
  • Great communication skills
  • Understanding of health & safety legislation.
  • Experience in real estate development investments is beneficial
  • Someone who has exposure and understanding of other risk types IE – Conduct risk, ESG, IT Risk
