Job Description

My client is a leading international Insurance Group, looking for a Senior Compliance Officer to join their growing Luxembourg office. This is a newly created permanent role which will report directly into the Head of Compliance. This role is an excellent opportunity to be part of a collaborative team with an international scope.

 The Role:

  • Provide compliance advice at all levels – regarding practical application of insurance and other regulations.
  • The Compliance officer will act as subject matter regulatory expert of Insurance Products for the firm.
  • The Compliance officer will assist the business to develop policies and procedures.
  • Support the completion of compliance risk assessments.
  • Develop compliance reviews, monitoring, testing and control activities for Insurance Operations.
  • Contribute to the KYC Onboarding and due diligence of Insurance clients.
  • Help with certain aspects of regulatory reporting for both the firm in Luxembourg and its branches in other European jurisdictions.

 Experienced Required:

  • Proven compliance experience in an Insurance company or insurance intermediary firm.
  • AML/CFT background and MIFD II is required.
  • Knowledge of CAA and CSSF laws, regulations, and practices.
  • Languages: Fluency in English and French
