Job Description

My client is a leading International Asset Manager looking to hire a Compliance Officer for their Luxembourg office. This is a newly created permanent role, which will report directly into the Head of Compliance in Luxembourg. Role Responsibilities include:

·        Review and update compliance policies and procedures.

·        Support the Head of Compliance, in assessing any changes in the regulatory environment.

·        Executing compliance testing, according to the risk-based compliance monitoring programme.

·        Provide Advice on AML/CFT Topics.

·        Coordinating and overseeing AML/CFT delegated tasks.

·        Review and approve compliance marketing and fund reporting literature.

·        Support to produce and manage correspondence and inquires with the CSSF.

·        Liaise and collaborate with the firm’s compliance teams across their other international offices.

 

Experience Required:

·        Demonstrated experience working in a regulatory compliance, audit, legal or other relevant control function.

·        Ideally looking for previous funds experience. A focus on Real Estate would be beneficial but not essential.

·        Excellent written and oral communication skills.

·        Fluency in English and German is essential.

·        Self-starter who is detailed orientated, able to set priorities and complete a variety of projects and tasks.

·        Must be able to build relationships with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
