Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a leading bank in a position where you will be leading and participating in assurance activities to assess the management and control of risk, ensuring that all work undertaken complies with quality requirements. The team is focussed on emerging risks and is a vertical team sitting between the business and the audit function which means that you will be managing relationships with key stakeholders across the business as well as collaborating with other teams and being involved in additional activities regarding the management of the internal audit department. The work will include overseeing the banking reform, conducting customer experience audits as well as being involved in the product approval process for new product launches.
This position would suit someone coming from a risk / risk assurance background who is interested in making the move into Internal Audit. Ideally you will have at least 3 years’ experience and a good understanding of risk and control. Audit experience is not essential for this role but you will need to demonstrate prior experience and ability to identify and assess risk and controls such as; planning activity, coordinating the fieldwork and writing reports
