Prudential Regulatory Senior Manager – Asset & Wealth Management
About the Role:
As part of the firm’s Financial Services Risk and Regulatory Practice, the Asset and Wealth Management Risk and Regulatory team delivers projects and advice across the broad spectrum of regulation and works with colleagues from across the firm’s network to deliver innovative solutions to clients.
You will assist the Partners and Directors expand the firms market offering, play a key role in strengthening their client relationships, and assist in the delivery of a range of interesting engagements.
Your Responsibilities:
- Take responsibility for the conduct of reviews and preparation of reports, making oral presentations of findings/recommendations to client management teams.
- Develop opportunities and win new business, through marketing and sale activities and continuous client relationship programmes with senior client staff
- Identify the impact of prudential regulatory changes and supporting clients as they adapt to the challenges the new regulatory landscape presents.
- Support the technical analysis being a ‘subject matter expert’ in aspects of FCA prudential regulations
Experience and Skills:
- Knowledge and experience of the asset management sector, including a strong understanding of risk and capital management processes and procedures
- Technical proficiency in the prudential aspect of the FCA regime as it applies to asset and wealth management firms including IFPR, regulatory reporting as well as elements of the broader FCA regime
- Experience in providing regulatory consulting advice to both established companies and new entrants either inhouse, at a regulatory body or a consultancy
- Demonstrable experience with the FCA and/or with another regulator consulting practice is ideal
- Strong numeracy and report writing skills
- General understanding of compliance and governance structures, operations, and industry best practice in compliance
