Your Job

 You will play an integral part, by supporting senior management in the provision of first-class risk oversight of the front office in their Commercial and Corporate banking business unit.

  • Being a main interface for challenge and risk oversight for transaction banking. This includes SME Loans through to Large Corporates and Structured Finance.
  • Ensuring good regulatory conduct across distribution products and engaging successfully with regulators and policy owners. Strong knowledge of Payment Services Directive and the Revised Directive on Payment Services (PSD2)
  • Engage with senior stakeholders across transaction banking to ensure risk for new products is understood and managed.
  • Maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, team members and all necessary areas of the business. 
  • A good understanding of deploying credit strategies across the credit lifecycle in SME, commercial and corporate banking
  • Being aware of regulatory updates and changes within payment services and factoring this into your every day work. Understanding products, product changes, business processes and process changes and ensuring the risks are understood, captured, managed and mitigated.

Your Skills

As the ideal candidate you will have …

  • Understand how payment services are regulated and have experience with the products associated (PSD and PSD2).
  • A strong operational risk or compliance background.
  • Strong written and verbal skills.
  • The ability to build strong relationships and communicate complexed ideas in layman’s terms.
