Manager Markets Compliance Advisory

Investment Bank

£80,000 - £120,000

My client is global financial institution looking to add a VP level compliance advisory officer with wholesale banking compliance advisory experience with US/EU and UK regulatory experience.

The role

You will be tasked with mitigating risk for the wholesale banking team. You will act as a trusted adviser providing oversight to the markets division. Understanding new regulations and being involved with their implementation will also form a key part of your role.

You will be involved with the banks continuous improvement of regulatory oversight in a second line function. You must be a trusted SME around wholesale banking financial regulation. Providing expert guidance and input on regulatory risk and conduct risk will be a key part of your role. 

You must also develop strong relationships across the front office.

Requirements

  • Wholesale banking compliance experience
  • MIFID, EMIR, MAR, trade & transaction reporting.
  • experience in a supervisory role
  • understanding of regulatory frameworks
  • excellent communication skills
