Legal Counsel
Our client is a leading provider of corporate insurance solutions for international clients covering risk for large corporate’s and specialist businesses. They are seeking to hire multiple experience lawyers into their German team.
Responsibilities:
- Support and provide legal advice for all business areas with a focus on international business development for the underwriting business
- Draft, review and amend legal documentation and contracts with coverage including sales and commercial contracts, third party service arrangements
- Support the wider governances functions including support the regulatory compliance team
- Assist in the provision of training to various departments with regard to legal matters
- Ensure changes in applicable laws and regulations are monitored and policies updated where necessary
- Co-ordinate and manage use of outside counsel and co-source partners
Experience Required:
- German qualified lawyer (2nd State Examination) or international equivalent with 3 Years+ PQE
- Fluent German language skills (to legal documentation standard)
- Experience of working within the Insurance industry, ideally with an knowledge of specialty Insurance/Reinsurance
