Legal Counsel

My client is a very well known banking group looking for a Lawyer to support their investments businesses. This will support the wealth management, retail investments and wider asset management arm of the business and should be really broad and interesting work. They are primarily looking for a Regulatory lawyer but exposure to funds or pensions would be hugely advantageous due to the product area it will be supporting.

This team is well established and offers a great place to work. They are mainly London based but offer a very flexible working pattern meaning you could be based anywhere in the UK if that was your preference. You are required in the office once a month and while that could be at another hub the preference would be for that to be in the London office so you can interact with your teammates. The hiring manager is lovely, the work life balance is excellent and the culture is genuinely superb.

They are open to considering people that are coming direct out of private practice or someone who has trained in house but is looking for their next move. You will need to demonstrate a strong understanding of the regulatory environment and as mentioned an appreciation or direct knowledge of funds and/or pensions would be really helpful.
