IT Security Analyst

My client, an innovative financial services organisation, is seeking an IT Security Analyst to join their in-house team.

This role encompasses a classic security operations position but allows for development and growth into a security engineering role. Your responsibilities will encompass vulnerability scanning and management, analysis of SIEM/IDS/IPS devices, creation of rules and policies around said tooling and some offensive security tasks. You will also have the opportunity to work with the wider IT and Infrastructure divisions and manage incident response.

In order to be successful in the role, you will have 2+ years’ experience within a security operations team or wider engineering function and ideally, be motivated to continue to develop into an engineering role. Certifications are a plus but by no means a necessity, you will be offered continuous development opportunities including funded certifications and training courses.
