I am working with a market leader in investment management with offices based in East Sussex that are building their IT Governance team and are searching for driven individuals to join their 2nd line IT risk function.

You can work primarily out of a chosen office (London, Cardiff, Hove, Birmingham), however, with 2 days minimum from Hove a week given the key stakeholders based there.

This opportunity is perfect for someone looking for a hugely respected and reputable firm that has platform for quick development and a prosperous career in IT Governance that has experience in strong IT audit and testing.

If you are working for a big 4 or smaller consultancy and working within IT assurance/audit and want to step into a more business aligned facing off to key stakeholders position then this could be a great opportunity for you.

In this role, you'll be part of a high performing team whom share a mix of responsibilities with a broad range, providing you with exposure unlike most other organisations.

What will you be doing:

  • Engaging primarily with controls owners and operators to test ISO27001 and COBIT internal controls to improve testing and audits.
  • Key stakeholder discussions to best improve IT governance controls.
  • Giving independent risk review insight and recommendation to the team and in key leadership meetings
  • External and internal auditor relationship building and working closely together to ensure best risk and controls practice group wide.
  • Design testing, implementation and operational effectiveness of internal controls, including 3rd party suppliers.

If you have previous FS information security experience it is a bonus.

The environment suits driven, entrepreneurial individuals whom are looking for an autonomous culture that will allow you to stand out quickly.

Interviews will be commencing in the next two weeks - so please be quick in applying.
