Internal Controls Senior

Barclay Simpson have been engaged by a privately owned service provider in the automotive sector who are continuing to expand their newly created Internal Controls function. Following the recent successful appointment of the Internal Controls Manager, we are now searching for an Internal Controls Senior to support both the Manager and the Head of Internal Controls. This would be an ideal role for someone making their 1st move from Big 4/Top 10 practice with ICFR/SOx controls experience. This role will require you to work from the Surrey office 2-3 day/week on average.

Reporting directly into the Head of Internal Controls & Internal Controls Manager, you will be working with a variety of countries to ensure they comply with the new Group Controls Standards and work directly with control owners to remediate any deficiencies identified. You will also play a critical role in driving increased maturity into the controls framework through the use of technology & automation. As the business continues to go through a period of significant transformation, you will provide support to these transformation programmes ensuring the controls are successfully designed and implemented.

You will hold a relevant qualification (e.g. ACA/ACCA/CPA), preferably from Big 4/Top 10 practice, looking to make your first move in industry. You will be from an External Audit or Risk Advisory background, but must have exposure to SOx/ICFR controls testing. You must have excellent communication skills and be confident working with senior level stakeholders. You must have full eligibility to work in the UK without visa sponsorship.

The salary package on offer is £60,000-£65,000 + 20% bonus + private medical + £52/month phone allowance.
