Our client, a leading asset management firm, is currently seeking an experienced internal auditor to join their team on a 4-month contract basis. The successful candidate should have previous experience of auditing real estate investment management divisions and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct internal audits of the real estate investment function to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of internal controls and compliance with company policies and procedures
Identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for process and controls enhancements
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices specific to real estate investment management
Communicate effectively with senior management and other stakeholders to provide updates on audit progress and findings
Prepare detailed reports on the findings and recommendations of the audit
Key Skills and Qualifications:
A minimum of 3 years of experience in internal audit, with a focus on auditing real estate investment management
Strong understanding of internal controls and regulatory requirements specific to real estate investment management
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and presentation skills
The ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
CPA, CIA, or other relevant professional certification is a plus
