Job Description

A global financial services organisation is seeking a lawyer with strong experience in the securitisation and structured products space for a new role in an exceptionally high performing team. This will be a key position within the team and you will take a leading role in providing support and advice to Treasury stakeholders in relation to Group Treasury's structured funding and standalone trades. You will establish new sources of secured funding and restructure existing or set up new secured funding programmes. Further to this yoy will  provide ad hoc legal support to Treasury and project teams on corporate structuring projects such as the UK structural reform programme (SRP).

As a qualified lawyer with at least 4 years PQE you will have proven experience of securities law, securitisation and covered bonds mechanics and documentation. It would be ideal if you had a knowledge of listing rules and regulations relating to this area of law. Further to this it is highly desirable for you to have experience working for or advising capital markets issuers on disclosure obligations, management of issuance programmes (including non UK platforms), preparation and management of risk factors. The role is focused on securitisation, secured funding and risk transfer transactions, however additional experience in bank finance in general, including equity issuance, capital and unsecured funding is an advantage.
