Head of IT SOx

Barclay Simpson have been engaged on this opportunity to join a US-listed global software development and IT consultancy business who are expanding their SOx & Internal Controls function with this senior position. This business is highly acquisitive and are continuing to grow rapidly, expanding in to new global markets. This role will require you to work from the central London office 1 day/week on average.

Reporting directly into the Director of Internal Controls & SOx, you will play a key role in owning and improving the IT SOx control environment. This will involve owning and developing the RACM, working closely with control owners across the IT function to guide them through all required remediation actions, develop training for both new and existing control owners, work alongside the established IT SOx testing team and providing challenge where required, and assisting with the implementation of a new GRC tool.

You will hold a relevant qualification (e.g. CISA) and have significant IT SOx experience, either from Big 4 practice or in industry. You must be happy working autonomously in a ‘hands-on’ manner. Good ITIL knowledge would be advantageous. You must have full eligibility to work in the UK without visa sponsorship.

The salary package on offer is c.£100,000 + £5,000 car allowance + $14,000 Shares + bonus + benefits.
