  • Job type: Permanent
  • Job reference: GR169094

Job Description

I'm working closely with a well known European Corporate Bank, who are in the midst of a significant, bank wide growth phase. As a result of this growth, they are looking to continue to grow their second line assurance function and hire a manager level candidate to run a team of several analysts.

If successful you would be responsible for the management and leadership of multiple analysts who are carrying out assurance reviews across all areas of financial crime within the organisation. You will be expected to be an independent reviewer who is capable of working effectively without extensive supervision and also effectively developing the analysts within the team. The organisation have recently doubled their spend on assurance, so you can also expect to see a large investment in technology and project work, something you will have the opportunity to be involved in and if desired lead.

To be apply for the position you should have the following experience:

  • Proven background in 2LOD/3LOD Financial Crime or in another relevant assurance function
  • Ability to independently manage complex reviews into corporate banking functions
  • Experience working audit or testing methodologies
  • Passion for developing and coaching junior members of staff, prior leadership experience is preferential but not necessary
  • Desire to work in a growing organisation and proactively build a team and function beneath yourself within this
  • Ability to manage a network of senior stakeholders within a large complex organisation
