Job Description

This is a new role within the Risk function of a major regional bank involved in retail and commercial banking.  The role requires an analytics specialist who will build and manage the bank's analytics capability to develop their financial crime data warehouse.  You will also be required to build scoring models in SAS, in order to analyse analytics outputs, and improve detection rates.

Suitable candidates will have experience of working within the banking sector , building and optimising databases, working with very large and complex datasets and analyses. Experience of data sourcing, mapping and cleansing and programming languages such as SAS and SQL, in order to build models is essential.  This experience should have been acquired in the context of financial crime within a bank.
