Deputy Head of Financial Crime

We’re hiring for the position of Deputy Head of Financial Crime, for a longstanding client of ours in the Capital Markets space.

Our client is looking for motivated individuals who’d be keen to act as the Deputy Head of Financial Crime, supporting the MLRO and DMLRO with the design and implementation, of all financial crime systems and controls.

The outline for the role includes:

• Supporting the design and development of the FCC program
• Provision of support and guidance to the 1st line of defence
• Assessing and advising on new financial crime risks off the back of global developments and regulatory changes
• Provision of guidance across AML, ABC, Sanctions and Fraud
• Support the delivery of any FCC transformation projects happening across the business
• Build and maintain key relationships internally and externally
• Produce MI for divisional reporting
• Represent the department across business initiatives
• Engage and Liaise with internal and external Auditors
• Engage with various industry professional bodies to identify and act upon upcoming changes to legislation
• Participate proactively in the design and implementation of transaction monitoring controls
