Job Description

My client, an online gaming firm are looking for an experienced data protection manager. You will - 

Manage a privacy analyst within the Privacy Office team.  

Support the Head of Privacy (and acting DPO) with the delivery of privacy worldwide compliance programme.  

Provide day to day privacy guidance to the business and support operational activities required to support the management of an effective privacy programme (e.g. creating reports and documentation, using privacy software management tool, designing privacy compliance processes).  

Contribute to the organisation of the quarterly Data Protection Committee. 

Support and contribute to the delivery and management of the Privacy Office compliance programme and practices to ensure the business needs are met, and privacy compliance are proactively identified and managed including (but not limited) to completion of data protection impact assessments (DPIAs), operational privacy compliance, managing maintenance and update of the groups records of processing activities (e.g. address inter-entity personal data flows) with the support of a privacy analyst from the Privacy Office team. 

Support and contribute to the establishment of a privacy risk assessment process to identify and mitigate privacy risks associated with the processing of personal data at operational levels and contribute to the management of the Data Protection Risk Register of the company.  

Support and contribute to the creation and implementation of privacy’s key performance indicators (KPIs) and key risk indicators (KRIs) to establish privacy metrics to support the Privacy Office support to the business and create reporting mechanism to share those KPIs with key stakeholders in the business and within the Data Protection Committee. 

Analyse privacy metrics to develop privacy reports to the Privacy Office and other key stakeholders in the business. 

Develop a process to audit completed DPIAs by the business.

Support the Privacy office in embedding a data privacy culture across the business. 

Support the Privacy Office to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to ensure the business compliance with its internal data protection related policies.
