Cyber Project Manager

Cyber Project Managers required for market leading financial services firm. The role will be centred on delivering a range of cyber project within the Cyber Delivery Assurance Team.

What You’ll Do:

  • Represent and address the needs of internal stakeholders, business teams, and senior managers throughout project stages, from initial idea to implementation and results.
  • Apply strong project management skills, including planning, risk and issue management, budgeting, and resource coordination, with a focus on timely and successful delivery.
  • Lead and coordinate diverse teams across different locations and work effectively with external service providers.
  • Identify critical resources, manage key stakeholders, and ensure project objectives are met.
  • Stay flexible and encourage team adaptability to meet goals on time, within budget, and at the required quality.
  • Take ownership, assess complex situations, and make key decisions to overcome challenges during the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with IT suppliers to manage deliverables and resolve issues.

What You Need:

  • Proven experience delivering complex projects involving business and technology changes with external partners.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Expertise in managing budgets for large projects, including internal and external costs.
  • Solid stakeholder management experience, including face-to-face communication and creating management reports.
  • A track record of successfully managing and delivering projects by navigating risks, dependencies, and issues.

Bonus (Nice-to-Have) Skills:

  • Experience delivering Cybersecurity or network transformation projects.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft security tools.
  • Knowledge of the financial sector and the ability to link technology with business goals.
  • Exposure to Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Ability to translate strategic business and technology objectives into actionable project outcomes.
  • Education in IT or a related technical discipline.
