Cyber Incident Response Specialist

My client, a global organisation is seeking a hands-on IR Specialist, to join their team based in Manchester.

The role is varied, covering all aspects of cyber defence including triage and assessment, threat hunting, malware analysis but most importantly, incident response. You will investigate and manage all kind of incidents, which may range from ransomware through to data loss. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to work alongside the threat intelligence, red teaming and purple teaming functions.

In order to be successful in your application, strong technical skills within security operations and incident response is a must, as is good communication skills. Certifications such as GCIH would be useful however, equivalent experience is more important. Coming from a SOC background is an advantage.
