Job Description

My client is a leading European Bank,who are currently mid-way through a major growth phase across all business lines with a real focus on investing in their governance, compliance and financial crime. 

My client is seeking a strong financial crime professional to step in at manager level to lead their Correspondent banking advisory team. Main responsibilities will include: Acting as the focal point for all correspondent banking, msb and trade finance queries. Providing an escalation point for junior members of staff and other financial crime teams for complex queries. As well as leading the continual improvement of the frameworks associated with the CB area of the organisation.

Ideally you will have exposure to the following areas:

  • Front office financial crime advisory
  • Technical correspondent banking (and ideally trade finance)
  • Understanding of how to approach financial crime with a genuine risk based mindset
  • Senior stakeholder management
