Job Description

Our client, a global firm specialised in the delivery of financial services, is opening a new vacancy for a compliance officer that will join their third line of defence and provide his expertise on financial crime matters. Their dynamic team is looking forward to welcoming a new member at their Belgian office. As sanctions specialist, transnational work perspectives will be offered as well as the opportunity to gain the valuable title and in-depth skills of a Subject Matter Expert.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop sustainably the key areas that are AML, CTF and more globally financial sanctions

  • Deliver focused and regular expertise sanctions, embargoes, OFAC, SAPIN II and watch lists

  • Share relevant recommendations to the senior compliance management committee

  • Contribute in creating a transversal view of ethics and compliance dimensions

  • Timely risk analysis

  • Ad-hoc project management throughout the year

     

Requirements:

 

  • Previous experience in financial services

  • Solid experience gained in compliance, ideally within financial crime/sanctions

  • Good Knowledge of the Sanctions’ principles as well as broader regulations such as AMLD IV

  • Fluency in English
