Job Description

Senior Compliance Advisory

My client is a FTSE 250 brokerage house in London.

This role is to join a small team as a compliance advisor. You will provide compliance advise on all FICC product areas and services the brokerage offers.

The core responsibilities are; project work around regulation which can't be solved in a day; transactional daily queries; keeping up with the compliance monitoring programe; making sure they are compliant with existing regulations.

The right candidate doesn't necessarily need to have worked at a brokerage before and have detailed knowledge of FICC products.

You must have a detailed and technical understanding of MIFID II and MAR. This is a pre-requiste for the job.

You must have a detailed knowledge of Wholesale Financial Markets and a risk based approach to controls. Ideally you will have understanding of front and back office compliance aswell as settlement and clearing systems.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a FICC compliance role.
