Compliance AVP

My client is an Investment bank based in London.

There are looking to hire a compliance officer to join their advisory function. The right candidate doesn’t have to come from an advisory background.

They are open to looking at someone who is in a regulatory compliance role like monitoring, control room, and governance as long as you have a solid understanding of Investment banking or capital markets compliance.

This is a genuine opportunity for someone who isn’t getting the advisory opportunity internally to look externally at a great firm with good leadership.

The role will cover

• Compliance advisory duties to the Equity, Fixed Income & Currencies, Commodities, and Treasury businesses.
• Business policies and procedures updating
• Investigations into group compliance regulation
• Ad hoc duties
• Regulatory reporting
• Updating of regulatory libraries
• Data analytics and controls assesments
• Training

Ideally you will have a law or finance degree and a basic understanding of securities and banking regulations around market abuse.

The role allows hybrid working 3 days in the office and will offer a basic salary of £70,000.
