Collateral Management Analyst

Our client, a multi-strat hedge fund, is seeking a Collateral Management Analyst to join their team in London. The successful candidate will report to the Collateral and Treasury department and will assist with the production and maintenance of risk reports to both front office and senior management.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Reconciliation/approval/simulation/optimisation of Initial Margin amounts
  • Production of daily/weekly/monthly reports on cash usage, counterparty risk, OPERA and investor reports
  • Regulatory reporting (AIFMD, Form PF, CPO-PQR) as required
  • Working closely with the Business Technology Services department to improve existing reports and develop new ones.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable industry experience and have worked on counterparty risk (either on the buy or sell side). They will be competent with Excel, SQL, and VBA, and have a Bachelor’s degree in Economics/Accounting/Math related area. Basic knowledge of Greeks, VaR and Stresses, Fixed Income, FX, and Equity, and counterparties risk is required. Knowledge of Python is appreciated.

The candidate must be a proactive team player, able to manage and prioritize tasks, have initiative in helping others complete tasks, be punctual, responsible, and reliable with a strong attention to detail. Strong work ethic, good communication skills, and excellent written and spoken business English is also required.

This is a full-time position with standard hours between 8am and 6pm, with some flexibility required. Our client is an award-winning firm with a global presence and a reputation for excellence in risk management, operational robustness, and investment performance.
