Job Description
This is an outstanding opportunity for an very experienced audit professional to set up and develop a new audit function. The Life and Medical arm of a very established insurance group is listing its life and medical division as a separate company. This will require its own governance structure including an internal audit function that will report to a new Audit Committee. The role will lead the audit division in its performance of a full audit cycle across it business , reporting on the effectiveness of controls over operations, financial reliability and compliance with regulations.
Ideally candidates will have a professional accounting qualification or equivalent and further insurance qualifications. You will have gained in depth experience of audit leadership in the insurance industry, particularly covering life and pensions. Any insurance operations experience will also be useful.
