Job Description

A leading banking and financial services organisation are recruiting an AVP Internal Audit Manager to join their global markets team.

Responsible for the scoping, planning and delivery of audit engagements, this position will on occasion act as the audit lead for the team, and therefore coach, develop and supervise more junior members. More specifically, this role will involve closely monitoring the Global Markets portfolio and identifying key risks associated with the business, as well as working alongside the Head of Internal Audit on projects related to the risk universe and risk assessments. In addition, the suitable candidate can expect to be involved in developing specialist areas of subject matter expertise within Global Markets areas and risks, as well playing an important role in building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and auditees.

The preferred candidate for this opportunity will either come from a similar audit function within the financial services sector or from a Big 4 firm, have previous experience in audit within global markets and hold a strong understanding of the risks and controls associated with it. As well as this, an accountancy qualification is preferred, but not essential.
