Job Description

A financial services organisation based in central London is seeking a qualified company secretary with listed company experience for a key role within the legal and company secretarial team. This individual will report into the head of the co sec team. The role will be extremely varied and will have immediate and constant access to very senior people within the business including members of the board and non-exec directors. 

Your responsibilities will include supporting on the day to day administration of the company including corporate record keeping and completing of statutory filings and registers. You will provide administrative support to the board of directors and ensure the efficient organisation of all board meetings by setting detailed agendas, preparing and presenting papers, minuting meetings and advising on board procedures. You will assist in implementing corporate strategies and you will ensure that the company complies with all statutory and regulatory requirements.

As a qualified company secretary with at least 3 years post qualification experience it is essential that you will have had experience working for a listed company, ideally financial services. Ideally you will have had experience managing junior team members. As this role will have constant stakeholder management it is important that you have good communication skills and that you are robust and able to hold your own.
