Job Description

Leading bank with global operations seeks an ALM modeller to join the team in London.

The ALM team is responsible for adapting and running the balance sheet models, incorporating new regulations, economic scenarios and behavioural assumptions.  There is also plenty of analysis work on the results from the models, explanation of movements and ad hoc analysis which is then presented at ALCO.

An opportunity exists for an Analyst or Senior Analyst level hire to join the team.  The ideal candidate will have some knowledge of IRRBB models and some relevant systems skills (SAS, and/or an ALM system such as QRM, BancWare, ALMPro or a similar system).  Candidates will also be considered without this experience if they have a strong interest in ALM and IRRBB, and they have related risk and analytical experience.
