Job Description

An international retail bank are seeking an ALM manager for their UK entity.  The firm is expanding rapidly and as a result, an exciting new role has arisen within the firm's Finance Treasury function. The firm places great emphasis on employee satisfaction, and have an excellent benefits package as well as offering remote working.  The bank is based to the North of London (commutable from the City).

The role will report into the UK Head of Treasury, and will see you interact with the second line risk function, as well as the International ALM team.

Key responsibilities:

- Monitoring and managing the structural balance sheet as well as market, liquidity and funding risks and contributing to the application of strategies designed to mitigate these risks

- Contributing to the shaping of the bank's liquidity reserve in compliance with stress testing scenarios and regulatory ratios

- Supporting in the development of the ILAAP and submissions to the regulator

- Preparing MI reports for ALCO and the Finance Committee

You will need:

- In depth knowledge and experience of liquidity risk management and stress testing

- At least 3 years of experience within a Treasury, Risk or ALM function

- Prior experience of financial modelling and building ALM models in Excel

- BSc or MSc in a numerical subject
