Adjoint RCCI / Deputy Head of Compliance (H/F)

Our client is a leading alternative asset management and investment company based in France.

You will be part of the Compliance team, reporting to the CCO, and will be involved in ensuring compliance with regulations.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the Compliance team’s analysts and associates
  • Conducting the control plan
  • Updating compliance policies and procedures
  • Organizing compliance training
  • Monitoring recommendations
  • Reporting on compliance activities
  • Analyzing regulatory developments
  • Supporting the development of new activities or products
  • Assisting the CCO in their duties
  • Interacting with regulators
  • Interacting with auditors and custodians
  • And more.

PROFILE:

  • Master’s degree in financial law or business law from a recognized law university or a Master’s degree from a business school
  • Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in a similar company (AIFM asset management company), audit firm, or specialized consulting firm
  • Strong interest in law, finance, economics, and politics
  • Good knowledge of accounting
  • Good understanding of UCITS and AIFM regulations
  • Good understanding of anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing regulations (AML/CTF)
  • Good understanding of market abuse prevention regulations (MAR)
