Job Description:

My Investment Bank client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Associate Director of Compliance Monitoring to join their team. The successful candidate will have a key role in performing desk and thematic monitoring reviews, with a focus on the banking/markets businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide an active advisory and monitoring service in relation to regulatory requirements,
• Conduct desk and thematic reviews to assess compliance with relevant regulations and policies
• work across banking and markets areas of the bank
• Identify and assess compliance risks within the banking business
• Develop and implement monitoring plans to address identified risks
• Communicate findings and recommendations to senior management and business units
• Collaborate with business units to ensure compliance policies and procedures are being followed
• Stay current on regulatory developments and industry best practices

Qualifications:

• Experience in audit, compliance monitoring or assurance at an investment bank
• Strong understanding of banking regulations and compliance requirements
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Leadership experience and ability to manage a team
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field
