What is it about recruitment that may be attractive to you as a career?

The most basic explanation of what a recruitment consultant does is that they are paid by a client for finding them an employee. It is, however, rather more involved than that. A fully trained consultant will engage in a very wide range of activities, including winning recruitment assignments on which to work, researching and sourcing appropriate candidates, managing an interview process with the client and co-ordinating the offer and on-boarding process.

So what skills are you developing in this career? How about marketing, advertising, sales, research, presentation, communication, negotiation, management and leadership. There are not many careers where you will employ such a diverse set of skills.

There is no set profile for the people that we seek, but most of all we want individuals who will embrace our values: integrity, insight, collaboration and respect. The minimum requirement is that you are a graduate who thrives in a team environment, who can communicate with credibility and also demonstrate a real desire to succeed.

Our training?

Our graduate training scheme is well established and will develop the key skills that you will use in your job. We will teach you all the tools and techniques that will be needed to deliver a quality service to clients and candidates alike. Training will be given to you in peer groups throughout your first six months, combined with work experience and further mentoring from experienced recruiters. Our aim is to give you the best grounding possible to allow you to thrive right from the start of your career with us.
