Data Protection Manager Assistant

My Client, a large UK bank, are looking for a Data Privacy Manager Assistant to assist the bank in meeting its requirements under data protection and privacy regulations including the Data Protection Act 2018, the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR, and e-Privacy regulations. You will support the Data Protection Officer and Data Privacy Managers by ensuring that policies, standards, processes and analysis lead to effective understanding of the data privacy compliance and risk environment across the organisation.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Ensuring that policies, standards, processes and analysis lead to effective understanding of the data privacy compliance and risk environment across the organisation alongside working with team members in support of the Data Privacy Framework
• Includes identifying, creating, monitoring and reporting on data privacy related management information, controls and metrics

 

About you:

• Subject matter expert for privacy and data protection used to providing advice and guidance and reviewing DPIAs.
• A strong team player, combined with the confidence and experience to manage matters on your own initiative.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with excellent attention to detail including the ability to write reports, technical standards and training materials as well as presenting to audiences
• Source, identify, review and interpret data and other management information to contribute to evaluations of data protection and privacy maturity
• Confident in using MS Power Platform tools to produce dashboards and input into reports.
