Compliance Consultant

My client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regulatory Consultant to join their Consulting practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial services, compliance, and/or consulting, with an in-depth understanding of the FCA handbook including Conduct of Business (BCOB, MCOB, ICOB), SYSC, and DISP.)

This is an exciting opportunity to work with some skilled compliance consultants for some of the largest financial services firms in the UK.

Responsibilities:

• Provide expert advice and support to clients on regulatory compliance issues, including the interpretation and application of the FCA handbook.
• Conduct risk assessments, gap analyses, and impact assessments to identify and address regulatory compliance issues.
• Conduct reviews and devise strategies for digital banks in the formation of their compliance policies, procedures and risk frameworks.
• Develop and implement compliance programs and processes to ensure that clients are meeting their regulatory obligations.
• Monitor and report on regulatory changes and their impact on clients’ businesses.
• Manage client relationships and ensure that regulatory requirements are met.
• Participate in projects and teams to deliver regulatory consulting services to clients.
• Provide training and guidance to clients on regulatory compliance issues.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field, such as law, finance, or business.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial services, compliance, and/or consulting, with a focus on regulatory compliance.
• In-depth knowledge of the FCA handbook, including Conduct of Business (BCOB, MCOB, ICOB), SYSC, and DISP.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and apply regulatory requirements.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Salary on offer is £60,000 – £80,000
