Fintech Payments Compliance

My client, is a fintech payments firm looking to hire a skilled regulatory compliance advisory officer with detailed fintech PSD2 and PSR (payment services regulation) exposure.

They have a new head of Compliance who I have known for some time and would be an excellent person to work with.

This is an exciting newly created role to support the UK compliance officer with global compliance issues. The business is scaling and they are looking for a payments compliance regulatory specialist who has worked at a fintech and can help them scale into new areas like crypto and Igaming.

You will be responsible for implementing a robust risk management framework. You will support the product development teams ensuring all regulatory obligations are adhered to.

The payments landscape is continuing to evolve and they are looking for an enthusiastic compliance professional to join the team and provide ongoing regulatory oversight.

Ideally you will have 7+ years experience in an advisory role specifically within fintech, crypto or payments space. Having a legal background or having worked at a fintech would be beneficial.

Salary on offer is £85,000 – £100,000

This role can be flexible with working in the office in London or Dublin one day a month an option.

  • Significant experience within regulatory/ product advisory in financial services  (c 7+ years), including time spent at a Financial Technology company
  • Deep working knowledge of PSD2/ PSRs requirements in the UK and EU
  • Experience working within emerging payments space for instance Crypto Assets and/ or higher risk areas of financial services such as money remittance.
  • A legal background, and AML qualifications would be an advantage
  • Track record of managing relationships with commercial and product  teams.
