Cloud Security Engineer

This leading telecoms company established a cloud security engineering and architecture function in 2021.

As a new function, there is a need to set up cloud security policies and engineer them, using the platform and engineering teams for additional support. You will work on projects for internal customers, reviewing them from a security engineering perspective.  Cloud security assurance will also be part of your role, ensuring compliance and best practice.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing function, offering a range of interesting work.

The successful candidate may be an experienced Security Engineer with good cloud knowledge and cloud vendor certification, or a cloud security specialist/consultant, or a cloud security architect who is keen to get their hands dirty.

Although the role can’t be offered as fully remote contractually (as the contract needs to be linked to an office), there is little need for this individual to come into the office and the hiring manager is happy to agree an informal working from home arrangement.

Visa sponsorship is available for the right candidate but you must be currently based in the UK. Relocation is not available.
