London - offers internal auditors widest range of jobs in the UK
London offers the widest range of jobs and career options to internal auditors as it is home to the major employers of corporate governance professionals from every industry sector. The major feature is the City of London and Canary Wharf which is home to over 200 internal audit departments with retail banking, investment banking and other financial services groups. They provide a vast number of jobs for internal auditors.
London is also the internal audit base for many of the UK’s major Plcs together with a number of international groups, central government departments and Big 4 or niche internal audit consulting practices. The largest concentration of these is in Central London, with a significant number in West London and a few audit departments based in North London. East and South London are not well represented.
