Whilst, like so much of the UK economy, the Internal Audit recruitment market has slowed dramatically, it has not suffered as much as other areas of corporate governance.
- New vacancies sharply down – 65% lower than the same period in 2008
- Candidate registrations are steady and not increasing as in other areas of corporate governance
- The fact that defensive registrations are slightly down and that overall salary increases are stable at 11% are both positive
Based on our survey data, internal audit employment is holding up surprisingly well.
