Ian graduated from the University of Bradford’s Management Centre in 1987 and, following a brief spell working as an accountant, moved into financial recruitment in 1989. He initially concentrated on external audit in public practice and general finance in commerce, before joining Barclay Simpson in 1996, specialising in internal audit recruitment. He is a Director of the company with operational responsibility for the Information Security and Compliance divisions and responsibility for all areas of the company’s infrastructure and operational support functions.

Adrian graduated from University College Cardiff in 1978 and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG, gaining post qualification experience in internal auditing, financial control and treasury management. He moved into the recruitment industry in 1987, specialising in internal audit recruitment and set up Barclay Simpson as a specialist internal and computer audit recruitment consultancy in 1989. He is a Director of the company and has primary responsibility for all areas of Internal Audit recruitment outside of the banking sector. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Internal Auditors.

Tim graduated from King’s College, University of London, in 1984 and joined Arthur Andersen in 1985 to train as an accountant. He moved into the recruitment industry in 1987, specialising in finance and accountancy appointments. He joined Barclay Simpson in 1991 and became a specialist in the recruitment of internal auditors for the banking sector. He is a Director of the company and has primary responsibility for banking appointments within the Audit and Risk Management divisions.
