2008 starts with the world’s financial markets more unsettled than they have been for some years, and the UK economy under pressure. What does this mean for jobs in corporate governance?

This is the 18th year we have produced a market report and the following different reports are available:
Each report contains a detailed analysis of market and recruitment activity in 2007, gives up to date salary information, sector specific information and makes predictions about likely recruitment activity in the year ahead.
The reports can be read online or downloaded. If you have any problems accessing the reports or would like to discuss any aspect of them, please call 020 7936 2601.
By way of brief summary, the end of 2007 was very different to the start of the year. Until Q3, most areas of corporate governance were performing strongly on the back of a stable and growing economy. Then came the collapse of the US sub-prime lending market, which very quickly changed economies around the world. That and subsequent financial events has resulted in 2008 starting with more financial uncertainty than there has been for the last 5 years.
We hope you enjoy the reports and would very much appreciate your feedback.
